Freeman’s Pass
2025
My most recent personal project
Freeman’s Pass is a western genre, independent short film created by myself and a small group of creatives.
In mid 2023, I wrote out the draft of a psychological western film, designed to create opportunities for unrepresented actors and creatives who had not yet found opportunities to present their work. When the SAG-AFTRA strike began, I gathered a group of people who wanted to create during a time when the industry was stopped dead in its tracks. Every person involved in this project has put so much hard work into the creation of this film (and its connected projects, Dunn’s Posse and Annabelle’s Question), and we’re happy to say it looks pretty great. Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself, and follow @freemanspassfilm on Instagram for updates on the project!
My Role(s)
I’ve been very fortunate in the creation of this film; the support of my friends and fellow creatives involved in Freeman’s Pass has allowed me to wear a number of hats. Well, mostly the one in the photos, but a few other metaphorical hats as well.
I’m proud to say I am a co-director, the producer, one of the lead actors, a wardrobe designer, and a composer involved in the creation of the score of this film.
You’ll be able to see me play the role of The Outlaw when the film releases in the first half of 2024.
Our First Teaser
“You know the best thing about living a wild life out on the range? The freedom. Freedom to do anything, go anywhere, see whatever. You know the worst part about freedom? Loneliness.”
